Responsibilities

This position is responsible for new product development, ongoing product management, pricing and sales promotion for Ameriprise Brokerage's fixed income products. Specific product responsibilities include corporate and municipal bonds; U.S. Treasuries; Agency debentures, mortgage pass-throughs and collateralized mortgage obligations; and non-mortgage asset-backed securities.

The incumbent is accountable for fixed income product development and product management initiatives, including conducting competitive analysis, proposing new product features and functionality, conducting financial analysis and making pricing recommendations, and developing field implementation plans. This position also involves leading cross-organizational project teams which design new products, execute product enhancements, or enact new compliance policies and procedures.

This position is also responsible for ongoing enhancements to the New Brokerage Platform as well as fixed income tools for advisors and clients, including serving as a subject matter expert, writing business requirements and completing systems testing for fixed income products.

Finally, the Product Manager has responsibility for achieving annual fixed income financial goals, including revenue, profitability and ROE.

Required Qualifications

* In-depth knowledge and experience with fixed income products, including product features, functionality, pricing and trading

* Experience in fixed income systems, trading, operations and service delivery

* Proven ability to execute strategic and tactical plans

* Strong organizational skills, including developing project plans and managing multiple projects simultaneously

* Ability to lead and influence across cross-organizational business units

* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

* B.A. degree in business, finance, or economics (or equivalent work experience).

* Series 7 securities license/
