Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer of Business Services reports to the Chief Financial Officer of the company and supports the Vice Chairman of Business Services. The Chief Financial Officer of Business Services has overall responsibility for all financial matters of the business unit.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Planning and forecasting of business unit results and development of both operational and strategic plans and communication of that strategy to senior management of the company (CEO/CFO)
  • Monthly/Quarterly reporting of business unit financial statements and non financial metrics to business unit leaders and senior management of the company (CEO/CFO)
  • Review and prioritization of business unit initiatives and related business cases
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all levels of management providing leadership and advice. Work closely with business unit leaders to insure operation plans are implemented, tracked and achieved.
  • Work closely with Vice Chairmen of business unit and leadership team in development implementation of business unit strategy
  • Provide financial information for decision making support including cost management, revenue enhancement and benchmarking comparisons.
  • Ensure strong accounting control environment exists that is in compliance with company policies and procedures and provide strategic accounting advice to the Business Services leadership team
  • Work closely with and/or participate in various corporate committees such ALCO, Risk Management, etc, to ensure appropriate alignment with corporate strategies and risk management measures.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be a proven leader and strategic thinker with relevant business and financial function experience and significant senior level management exposure.

The individual must have in-depth knowledge of and experience in corporate finance and accounting. In addition he/she must be familiar with the operating and servicing aspects of a diversified, dispersed and branded consumer and commercial financial services company.

The candidate should be technically strong with demonstrated financial and operational acumen and will ideally have had broad finance responsibility for several internal divisions and exposure to multiple banking products.

He/She will have 15 to 20 years of financial management, accounting and control experience.

CPA or MBA preferred

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
