One of the markets Leading Investment Banks have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to lead the global strategy and change programme within Loan operations.
The role requires a strong leader with good end-to-end business knowledge and project disciplines to provide a focal point for shaping strategy, defining requirements and driving implementation of change related to the loans businesses across the Investment Bank as well as the Corporate and Wealth businesses.
This is a challenging role requiring the successful individual to partner, coordinate and drive progress across global operations functions, technology teams and business areas and is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading organisation and business area and play an active part in driving the long-term development of a first-class operating platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a global programme manager for the Global Lending Strategy & Change team, encompassing management of global change team resources and a book of work including a number of medium to large scale projects.
  • Delegate deliverables effectively ensuring ops change, technology and business / subject matter expertise resources are leveraged effectively in delivery of initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed projects plans in Excel / MS Project.
  • Manage key project risks and issues, escalating as required
  • Produce impactful management reporting via Powerpoint
  • Lead working group / management update briefings to VP, Director and MD levels.
  • Work with key global stakeholders and teams to understand and document business needs & priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Whilst Loans experience is beneficial and preferred, there is flexibility and candidates that possess strong change experience and a track record of delivery within Operations (fixed income or related asset classes) will also be considered.
  • Experience leading change across major markets areas and operating teams (both tactical and strategic)
  • Strong business and operational knowledge and understanding of what drives scale and growth
  • Experience of cross regional collaboration with global operating models and stakeholders.
  • Strong approach to risk management and awareness of control across BAU and change programmes
  • Experience of and familiarity with external market initiatives in any asset class either from a peer investment banking organisation or from an active buy-side market participant
  • Track-record of delivery in a significant change or line roles
  • Prior experience of working with external vendors and peers is an advantage
  • Experience driving process reengineering and improvement
  • Disciplined and structured approach to project and programme management across all aspects of the project lifecycle
