Rare opportunity for a
transformation/change management professional to lend their generalist
transformation expertise and project management skills during a highly
challenging business transformation and beyond. Management Consulting
backgrounds are ideal.
- Do you have at least 8 years of business transformation/change management expertise?
- Would you consider yourself to be a transformation/change management "generalist" with experience solving highly varied problems across numerous departments and industries?
- Are you known for your ability to solve ambiguous problems?
- Do you have superior project management experience having led large scale cross-departmental transformation initiatives?
In order to achieve success in this transformational role, the chosen candidate must be a big picture thinker with experience solving highly varied problems across multiple areas/departments (transformation/change management generalist). Additionally, this individual must also have an exceptional track record of partnering with senior executives to solve complex business problems and build new processes.
This position demands a high level of creativity and the ability (and desire) to not only work at the strategic level, but to also roll-up the sleeves and create the project plan and execute. (This position will manage both large and smaller scale transformation projects).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree required; Masters preferred.
- At least 8 years’ experience managing large scale transformation projects across numerous departments and industries. These projects must be projects in which the solution was “unknown” upon engagement. Candidates with experience solely project managing teams in charge of implementing a pre-determined solution will not be considered. (The ideal candidate will have between 8 and 15 years large scale project management experience working in a management consulting capacity).
- Strong process re-engineering experience. LEAN. Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Some experience, exposure to, or at least a very strong interest in employee hospitality services, business continuity, space planning, building infrastructure.
- Exemplary problem solver, proven ability to influence others, ability to hold others (at any level) accountable.
Key words: project management, business transformation, change management, six sigma, lean, consulting, facilities, business process re-engineering, business continuity, real estate, program management.
