Top financial firm is looking for a Developer to act as the point person and provide technical direction for various initiatives related to infrastructure and trading applications development.

As the lead developer, you’ll have a chance to optimize the existing system, design and implement new systems and infrastructure, and mentor junior engineers.
Financial industry experience is not required, but you must have an interest in working collaboratively with traders, quants, system engineers and other developers to create unique ways to use technology.
Requirements:

• Established and credible developer that can lead projects (this is not a people management role)
• Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems in C++ (preferably on multiple platforms)
• Low level, network and multi-threaded programming, knowledge of Linux internals
• Experience with C#, Java, Python and/or Perl) in addition to C++ is a plus
