The Senior Accountant will report to
the Fund Controller and assist a team of five professionals in the Fund
Finance group with fund administration responsibilities related to
Franklin Square's products, which include business development companies
(BDCs) and mutual funds.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Fund Controller and assist a team of five professionals in the Fund Finance group with the following accounting and fund administration responsibilities related to Franklin Square’s products, which include business development companies (BDCs) and mutual funds.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of annual, semi-annual and quarterly fund regulatory filings (Securities and Exchange Commission Forms 10-Q, 10-K, N-Q, N-CSR, N-SAR);
- Budgeting and payment of fund expenses;
- Oversight of third-party fund accounting agent and administrator;
- Support engagements of fund service providers, including independent accountants, tax consultant and internal auditor;
- Documentation of Sarbanes-Oxley certification process and controls.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in business administration with accounting or finance major preferred;
- CPA a plus, but not required;
- 2-3 years of fund accounting, fund administration or public accounting experience preferred;
- Knowledge of GAAP/financial reporting, fund accounting and 1940 Act preferred;
- Experience with BDCs, hedge funds and/or mutual funds preferred;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
