Position Description:
Position Summary
Responsible for consistent program management of the Former Financial Advisor Program (FFAP) and handling of retiring and deceased Financial Advisor matters for the MS US Wealth Management organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
• The Retirement Program Specialist will serve as a central point of contact for the FFAP plan administration
? The Specialist will proactively solicit new hires and current FAs who are not participants of the plan
? Explain and provide counseling to employees and their spouses about the program and benefits
? Manage all aspects of the administration of the plan including utilizing the newly created database and working with the Legal department on initiating any program updates, documentation change, etc.
? Interaction with managers and other FAs on the team during the administration phase of the program
? Sophisticated planning and analysis
? Manage deceased FA situations
? Manage reporting for various stakeholders to understand plan participation and determine where to target solicitation of current FAs


Skills Required:
Knowledge & Skills
? 6-10 years of work experience
? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to proactively reach out to FAs and market the FFAP program; ability to counsel employees
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Exceptional detail and follow-up skills
? Multi-task oriented
? Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
? Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning new technology
